Elaine Butterfield, executive director said: “We were all winners today, especially the non-profits of Bermuda and the community of needs that they serve. The games are an excellent opportunity to give our charities a little ‘bolster’ and to show how much we appreciate all that they do to make Bermuda a better place. Thank you to all the corporate teams for your ‘hard work’ and thank you for caring enough to do it.

“Shirlene White, volunteer coordinator at The Centre on Philanthropy did an excellent job as Team Leader and we thank our team and every volunteer for being a part of our success. The sun, sand, sweat and hard work made for a most successful event!

“At the end of the day, over $54,000 was shared between the 10 teams for their charities with the teams coming in at 4th to 10th place receiving $4,000 each. Therefore, everyone was a winner and we would like to again thank the participating corporations for their most valued gifts of time, energy and treasure.”
